Pre-conference meeting

For conference participants who are already in Dresden on Sunday, 2024-09-15, we have booked some places for Sunday evening  BottomsUp (Dresden Neustadt). The DGL Presidium will arrive there around 19:00 and if there are not enough seats, you will find several alternatives nearby.

Get together and 40th anniversary of DGL

On Monday, 2024-09-16, we will have a get-together after the end of the sessions. We want to use this opportunity to celebrate our anniversary.

Practice award

The award ceremony will take place on Tuesday 2024-09-17.

Young scientists event

A break-out event for young scientists will take place on Tuesday afternoon in the building of the Institute of Hydrobiology.

General meeting of the DGL

This year’s general meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 18:00 to approx. 19:30 in the lecture hall of the Gerhart Potthoff Building (POT/081/H, Hettnerstraße 1—3).

Benndorf-Schwoerbel Junior Scientists Award

The junior scientist award lectures will take place as usual on Wednesday morning.

Social event

The social evening will take place on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. We will welcome you at the Restaurant Alberthafen starting at 19:30. From the main train station you can reach the restaurant in approx. 12 minutes by tram no. 10 in the direction of Messe Dresden (stop "Alberthafen"). Weather permitting, the event will take place in the beer garden.

Poster prize

The poster prizes will be awarded during the closing event of the conference.
